Important Information Regarding Summer Term at Willow Dene during extended lockdown

Please read and consider the important information regarding the current provision for Summer Term and further support during the extended Covid 19 lockdown period.

If you have not already received a shielding letter for your child see the information below:

Families who have a child or family members that are medically vulnerable can refer themselves for shielding by registering on the government website (https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus-extremely-vulnerable) .  This will entitle you to emails from supermarkets giving you to priority deliveries.  You should also get the official shielding letter, or at least the text from the NHS.  It seems to take about two weeks.

People can ask to be furloughed if they have caring responsibilities or need to shield their child.  Having the official letter from the NHS also really helps with that  https://contact.org.uk/news-and-blogs/new-guidance-makes-clear-that-those-unable-to-work-due-to-caring-responsibilities-can-be-furloughed-by-their-employer
